Over thirty years we have been trusted with some remarkable occasions. Here are a handful, each with the story of how we designed and fired it.
Case Study
British Olympic Association
Chosen to fire two unique displays for the BOA Chairman’s Summer Ball in Olympic year, we rigged on a hilltop across a wooded valley and fired a patriotic, symmetrical show of red, white and blue, golden brocade rings and a giant finale that stretched for hundreds of metres.

The RAF Red Arrows
Invited to RAF Scampton for the Red Arrows’ 50th anniversary, we built a precision display – Synchro Pair shell passes, the iconic ‘SMOKE ON GO’ picked out in fireworks, and a Vixen Break recreated in mines – and left as lasting friends with the team.

Eastbourne Airbourne
Working to an imaginary ‘box in the sky’ for absolute safety, we fired a live twilight display in synchronisation with the Fireflies Aerobatic Team, trading volleys of colour with the planes before closing Airbourne with a full evening show.

A Low-Noise Wedding
A white-and-silver low-noise wedding display, designed from our own imported range into fast chaser fans of candles and wriggling fish, comets and splitting stars – proof that the smallest shows can be the most memorable, with the same 100% effort whatever the budget.

British Airways i360
Floating on a barge 150m out to sea off Brighton, we fired a display to music with colours timed to change in step with the i360’s lights, reflected in the sea and the tower’s glass, finishing with double dragon eggs and golden brocade that burned down to the water.
Case Study
Southwark Cathedral
To mark the 800th anniversary of the Great Fire of Southwark, we carried every piece of kit up 208 steps to the cathedral roof and fired both a daylight and a night display in the heart of London, with magical reflections in the glass of the Shard.
